List of stops for The Liberty Tree traveling across the country.

This story begins for me last week in Wrangell Alaska. I was there on a routine trip for work doing maintenance on the equipment at the airport. This has been one of my regular travel locations for a few years now. I am in Wrangell at least monthly if not much more frequent depending on the requirements of the scope of the job. With the frequence that I visit Wrangell I have built relationships with the Airport staff, management and the locals.
As part of the back story, it is important to know that on these small Islands in Southeast Alaska the State DOT both maintains the roads and the Airports.
On this visit I was dropping somethings off at the DOT shop with a colleague and airport staff and manager. They have a relatively large shop that usually filed with large plow trucks and other road maintenance vehicles. When the question arose to why the shop was empty the manager replied for the Christmas Tree. We were ignorant to what he was referring to and asked for him to deliberate.

He proceeded to inform us that the White House selected a Christmas tree from a Nation Forest every year to be presented and stood up outside the White House. He continued to explain that this year the tree was chosen from Zarembo Island, a small Island near Wrangell a part of the Tongass National Forest. The tree selected was 82 feet tall and would be placed on a custom trailer and barged then driven across the entire country to the white House for Christmas.
Although, at first I thought that this was silly and potentially a waist of resources until I was lead to change the way I looked at this profound journey this Tree would take.
I later learned that the tree would stop at many locations across the country on it journey to the capital. The tree would be displayed and shared as a part of its “Whistle Stop Tour.” The first stop will be Ketchikan Alaska where I currently live with my wife and children.
The process and growth of this idea in my brain was little self-generated and more a natural flow of direction, like I was viewing the path of a river that had existed for fare longer than my finite self. My wife had just returned from a profound and enlightening weekend as she had attended her first Crusible Project in Oklahoma. So, when I started thinking about this amazing religious experience and those women that were a part of it with her from many places across the country I thought it could be fun for her to sign the trailer, maybe say a prayer, write a scripture and maybe her new friends could do the same literally down the road on its journey.
That thought was only the beginning. I became aware how profound this moment was and could be. This tree, this Christmas Tree, this tree labeled the “Tree of The People” representing our nation and its people was going to make a 4000-mile journey from coast to coast from the right hand to the left hand, arms spread the whole Nation. This tree in His name Christ, A tree like he was nailed to Arms spread, a tree to be celebrated in His honor would travel our nation through it darkness.
Our Nation was founded on God, oh how we fallen away from that ideal. Corrupted by sin, cheated and manipulated by politicians, and given over to the darkest desires of our humanity.
All of these things complied in my heart, and I began researching simple thoughts like anointing, and the precedence of anointing physical object. In this research I learned there are three types of anointings: kingly anointing, priestly anointing, and prophetic anointing. Furthermore, once we become baptized through water and then the spirit, we have through the Holt Spirit within us all three types of anointing in us and on our lives.
So on October the 30th when this simple tree pulled from the land is displayed to the people of Ketchikan I will, accompanied by my wife and God willing others, combined by their efforts and in the spirt will pray over, dedicate and anoint this tree to God for God to be a light and representation of Christ, breaking spiritual bondage and the darkness that is prevalent and persists across our country. May this anointed object be a light to our nation as it travels from coast to coast, breaking bondage, freeing the oppressed and open the eyes and hearts of our Nation to the love of Christ.
Additionally, as perhaps added symmetry the tree will be presented in Loveland Colorado, our home stomping ground on November 11th. We Find this to be profound because many feel our country is at a tipping point and this tree will again be surrounded by prayer warriors on election day.
