A girl posted this in an abortion regret group I belong to. It will about rip your heart out. Make sure and read her reaction to my message. It totally made my day. I told her I want to stay connected with her to make sure she is fully equipped to heal that God wants to heal her to the uttermost. Pray she will.
“I had my abortion 13 years ago. I still haven’t forgave myself, I still feel the emptiness of loss, I still greive, I still don’t think God has forgiven me, nor has my baby 😔 it was a very traumatic experience for me. I don’t think I’ll ever fully heal”
I sent her this:
“I’m so sorry for your pain.
I have something to share with you that can most certainly help you. This is what helped me when I despaired (I am post abortive too) and It can help you:
“No human sin can erase the Mercy of God or prevent Him from unleashing all His triumphant power if we only call upon Him. God’s Mercy is His Might!” John Paul II
There is a huge difference between *regret* and *guilt*. Once you have received Christ’s forgiveness your guilt is removed as far as the East is from the West… an infinite distance. To emphasize this God says He can’t even remember it. But you and I will never forget what we have done and we will always *regret* it. The guilt is Gone…is removed and cast into the sea, never to resurface again. But we will always carry the regret and it should drive us to Love God more and appreciate his Mercy that much more. This should make us want to shout from the rooftops His Great Love and forgiveness and power to heal. Every time we fight for other children not to be aborted our children did not die in vain. Every time we help a woman to heal after her abortion it honors our children that we aborted. It gives great glory to God when we share that message with others and bring them healing. It points to the Salvation that is in Christ Jesus and that He Delights to forgive and to heal and to make whole again.
By Sharing Your story to help others it opens doors to turn victim hood to being a Victor and Overcomer… and making your healing most complete. And Giving your baby something to Brag up a storm about up there til you are reunited! 😇❤️ “HEY! That’s MY Mom down there… look at her GO!!!” 🙏😘👶❤️”
