Recent Colorado laws have fundamentally changed the landscape for families
From the classroom to the doctor’s office, Colorado lawmakers have systematically voted to sideline parents. By rejecting a Parents Bill of Rights and enabling secret medical and social transitions, the state is attempting to replace your role in your child’s life with government-mandated control.
Pregnancy & Sexual Health
Did you know that Colorado youth of all ages have the right to contraceptives, Sexually Transmitted Infection (STI) testing and treatment, pregnancy tests, HPV, Hep A, and Hep B vaccines without parental knowledge or consent?
Did you know that Colorado youth have the right to an abortion without parental consent? And Colorado allows public funds to pay for abortions?
Schools Can Transition Students in Secret
Did you know that public schools are now mandated to incorporate LGBTQ themes as early as 1st grade? Furthermore, schools are required to support a student’s social transition — including changes to names, pronouns, and locker room usage — without being required to notify the parents.
Did you know that in Colorado, youth of all ages can now access reproductive health services, including abortion and gender-transition treatments, without any parental knowledge or consent?
Additionally, parents who do not affirm a child’s chosen gender identity could face legal challenges regarding custody or child welfare.
Transgender Youth Rights
In the past, biological sex and gender were synonymous and determined at conception. Did you know that now gender identity is defined as a person’s sense of being a woman, a man, both, neither, or anywhere along the gender spectrum? In Colorado, youth have the right to the following without parental consent:
- Use the name and pronoun that aligns with their gender identity.
- Participate in school activities and sports that align with their gender identity.
- Use the bathroom, locker room, and overnight room assignment that aligns with their gender identity.
- Child welfare placement that aligns with their gender identity.
Schools are not required to notify girls nor their parents that they will be sharing female safe spaces with biological males.

- Life Without Parole: This initiative mandates Life in Prison without Parole for anyone buying or selling a minor for sex in Colorado.
- Certain Punishment: By ensuring traffickers can never return to the streets, we provide certain punishment and prevent them from ever hurting another child.
- A Final Stand: It’s time for Colorado voters to say: “Not here. Not once. Not ever.”
Vote YES on #134 — The Protect Girls’ Sports Act
- Protect Fair Play: Did you know that biological males are currently competing in Colorado girls’ sports, which impacts the fairness, safety, and opportunities available to female athletes?
- Clear Designations: Supporting #134 ensures that all sports leagues and teams are specifically designated as male, female, or co-ed to protect the integrity of the game.
- Safety & Dignity: This initiative prioritizes the physical safety and personal dignity of girls by ensuring they only compete against other biological females.
- Preserving Girls’ Sports: It’s a simple standard: girls’ sports in Colorado should be reserved for girls.
Vote YES on #135 — The Protect Kids From Irreversible Sex-Change Surgery Act
- Permanent Consequences: Did you know some medical procedures are irreversible and can end a child’s ability to have a family later in life?
- Set an Age Limit: This initiative prohibits irreversible sex-change surgeries for minor children aged 17 and younger.
- Consistent Standards: Colorado already requires people to be 18 to vote, drink, or sign contracts — major medical decisions should be no different.
- Protect the Future: For life-altering surgeries, this asks Colorado to wait until age 18.
